This is one of the biggest complaints that Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris players have had with its implementation in the Season of Worthy. While the original version of Trials had exclusive rewards for winning 7 matches in a row, this new version does not have such rewards, which removes the incentive for players to play at their most competitive level. The original hope was that this would bring more players to the mode, as they would not be under the pressure to go flawless on every ticket; however this only deterred players from the incentive to play their hardest.

It is no secret that Destiny 2 coming to PC on release has been an incredibly popular move for the series; however, this move has come with some unforeseen consequences that have really reared their ugly heads with the release of Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris. Third Party software like aim-bots and wall-hacks gave players an incredibly unfair advantage over fair-playing guardians. Bungie has acknowledged this problem and is working to counteract it, with over 2,000 players being banned for cheating every week.

Trials of Osiris Controversy 3: Bugs

Normally, Destiny 2 is a very polished experience with very few glitches and bugs that players experience, but the release of Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris was not in that same state. Many players were reporting that they were not receiving the promised rewards at three, five, and seven wins. This is a very frustrating bug for players to deal with, as Trials are the highest-tier PvP content that players can participate in, and not receiving the rewards for doing that content makes participating in Trials of Osiris not worth it.
