VANGUARD EDGEWISE MACHINE GUN
A Ritual Weapon
Edgewise Ritual Machine Gun a Vanguard Weapons that have substituted for the previous Pinnacle Weapons that were popular among guardians.
These new weapons will no longer have exclusive perks and will instead feature curated rolls. It appears to be a way to keep things fairer across the game and will make it easier to balance out the weapons in the future.
The Vanguard Machine Gun is part of the Destiny 2’s new Vanguard Ritual Weapons collection.
It can be obtained if you own the Destiny 2 Shadowkeep expansion. You’ll need to complete the quest attached to this Ritual Machine Gun to receive it though. This is a simple task, though when paired with Destiny Carries and LFG community.
The Ritual weapons now equipped with curated rolls, but for conversation reasons, we are going to stick with the all-important term, “perks.” The primary perks are;
- Rapid-Fire Frame – Deeper reserve ammo. Reloads Slightly faster when the magazine gets emptied.
- Rampage – Weapon kills temporarily grant increased damage. Increased Damage stacks three times.
- Polygonal Rifling– This increases the weapon’s stability through barrel optimization.
- Light Mag- There is an improvement of both range and speed.
- Feeding Frenzy- A Legendary trait, this allows improving to reload speed after kills are made.
- Field Prep- Another Legendary trait, this increases your ammo reserves.
- Demolitionist- Kills made with this perk will generate grenade energy. Utilizing your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
These first two alone make this weapon a worthy Ritual piece. If you’re planning for an immense firefight with this new season unfolding, make sure to be prepared with the latest and greatest Submachine Gun, Vanguard Edgewise.
With the changes to perks, it’s no telling how powerful this weapon could come out being.
