Means to and End

Once you complete the Face of Darkness quest from the Drifter. You will get the Means to an End Quest. This quest rotates on a 3 week rotation. Each of the Three Means to an End quests are similar except for the final step.

Barrier to Entry

Contain the spreading Darkness by participating in the Contact public event on Io or Titan.

Force

A challenge is issued to the strong. Collect Umbral Traces.

Perseverance

Complete mission “Interference” in the Cradle.

How you start the quest

A new weekly mission in destiny 2 season of Arrivals is called a Means to an End. You must start it by going to visit the Prismatic Caster down by the Drifter. You must first complete two mission called Shadow Overhead, and Face of Darkness. After you complete those 2 you will be able to get pick up the weekly quest and start receiving Altered Elements.

• Must be of 800+ Power Level
