Destiny 2 – Warmind is the second story expansion for Destiny 2 and was released in 2018.
This DLC introduces a new guardian named Aya Bray. Teaming up with Aya Bray, you will revisit Mars to discover the truth about Rasputin, a character introduced in the original story of Destiny.
List of missions:
- – Ice and Shadow: This mission is the beginning of the DLC. An ancient evil has awakened on Mars, and Ana Bray asks for your help.
- – Pilgrimage: During this mission, you search for more information about Warmind Rasputin.
- – Off-World Recovery: In order to draw out Xol, the ancient evil, you look for something powerful in the European Dead Zone
- – Strange Terrain: You have to find Nokris.
- – Will of the Thousands: This is the last mission where you have to fight Xol using the Warmind javelin.
Mars also hosts a new public event named Escalation Protocol you can access after you completed the story. You can start Escalation Protocol anytime you want because it’s not restricted by a schedule like other events.
New armor and weapons
Because it’s such an important aspect of Destiny, Warmind also includes new armor and weapon sets. You can acquire these pieces of equipment through the story campaign or from the Escalation Protocol mode.
New raid lair
Raiding is one of the most important features and the reason why so many people love Destiny 2. After the Eater of Worlds lair, the Warmind DLC comes with a new lair called Spire of Stars to conclude the story of the Leviathan. This is a smaller version of a raid, and it will allow players to explore new areas and fight smaller enemies before facing the final boss.
More crucible maps
The community of Destiny 2 is always happy when the developers add new maps. This is good news especially for people who prefer the PvP part of the game. The new maps included in the Warmind DLC provide new environments. Therefore, people have to come up with new strategies to compete against other players. The names of the new Mars-based maps are Solitude and Meltdown.
However, the best thing about Warmind is that everyone can play on these maps, even people who haven’t bought the DLC.
The most important feature of the Warmind DLC is the Escalation Protocol. This is a co-op mode, and it feels like a combination between The Taken Kings Court of Oryx and Rise of Irons Archons forge which were parts of the first Destiny game.
Basically, Escalation Protocol is hoard mode with seven waves of enemies, and you have to fight a mini-boss at the end of each wave. There is also a unique final boss every week, and there are five boss fights in total. This is a nice feature that adds diversity.
This is one of the most requested features since the first Destiny game. Before this, players were able to equip only one emote. However, now you can equip more emotes at the same time, and you can swap between the default ones and the ones you own.
These challenges take a lot of time that many players may not have. If you want the best weapons from warmind, you’ll have to spend hours grinding away. Instead of doing that, why not level the playing field by ordering a Destiny carry? We can help you get the best gear and weapons so that you can enjoy the game the way it was meant to enjoy. We’ll help you move up the leaderboards and will help your guardian survive future threats to the solar system!
