New Exotics and gear in Destiny 2’s PAX 2019 build

Exotic Armor Perks
Destiny 2s PAX Build. There are quite a few Exotic perks in Shadowkeep gear to expect in this new release when it comes to armors adaptations. With the raid drops and that which is purchasable, there is a lot of variance of ability. The perks in this new expansion are one of the more favored excitements for Guardians who are awaiting October 1st. There was a lot more going on in terms of weaponry at the PAX but here is what I gathered on the Exotic armor thus far.

Pieces To Pride
The Stormdancer Brace Warlock Chest was one of the highlights. We know now that it has the perk of Ascending Amplitude which allows players to increase their attack damage if there is a defeat on the wielding Guardians side.
Players are also stoked for the Phoenix Cradle Titan Legs, which perks with the Beacon of Empowerment. This also brings forth the Sun Warrior buff with double the allotted play time. The downfall is it’s only available if Sunspots are walked through.
The Garden of Salvation
Exotic Weapon Perks
Destiny 2 exotic’s, there are a lot of new weapons with the catchy trademark of being Exotic. This means the weapon itself is equipped with perks that can affect numerous aspects of the gameplay- attack bonuses, health and stat measurements, and so on. After the PAX 2019 there has been quite a few Exotic weapons secured in the new Shadowkeep release, and I’ve done my best to summarize them proceeding.

Deathbringer Rocket Launcher
This is probably one of the most unique weapons yet to Destiny 2, and it’s so exciting to see it coming forth from the Shadowkeep expansion. Really holding onto some hope for Bungies success in all this new content. With seeing previews such as this one I can have faith in that.
There are two major perks for the Deathbringer Rocket Launcher, making it of high desirability. Dark Deliverance and Dark Descent are both opted with this weapon.
The rocket will fire with the intent to drop void orbs that explode. This can also be remote detonated mid-flight, which in the previews gave example of how handy that can be.
The farther the better though- nifty tid bit- the longer the distance, the more damage that is dealt. This is going to be of asset if held with something more reliable in close range action.

Bug LMG
A less relevant but still notable new weapon is the Bug LMG (Light Machine Gun). This has been released since Guardian con, but still doesn’t have a definite tag or title. At PAX this weapon was triable, which left a lot of players overwhelmed with excitement.
The perks for this weapon are primarily Pyrotoxin Rounds- still handy as ever. This explosive ammunition is powerful but limited with only 13 rounds to max out the chamber. Would be best paired with something more reliable in a fire fight.

KHVOSTOV 7G-02
The KHVOSTOV 7G-02 is an auto rifle that is not being newly introduced in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, but rather freshly maxed out to 750 and comes from Destiny 1 Rise of Iron. This is the OG of Destiny in all this content overload, even making an appearance in the New Light mission as a blast from the past.
There is a chance it will end up Exotic, but this is just rumoring right now. As much as I would love that I am looking forward to its upgrade either way. My suggestion would be to match this with some form of Exotic heavier classed weapons, such as the Deathbringer Rocket Launcher.
The bring back of such a fan favorite is another parallel of Shadowkeep to Forsaken. Tactics on the player preferencing with weapons when choosing route during all this remodeling is a strong move from Bungie. I commend them seeing this at PAX.

Divinity Trace Rifle
This is the Exotic to expect from raids, which is nice to know now. It is the rifle that was originally seen in the Shadowkeep ViDoc, which had some players feeling ahead of the game when they were peeked it at PAX 2019. This rifle has a duo of perks- Judgement and Penance.
Judgement allows the weapon to create its own aura that encompasses the target. This aura does damage over time and agitates their gameplay.
The Penance perk is the derivative of the recurrent damage that is inflicted upon enemies during the overtake of Judgement’s aura. For being a weapon that I expect to see often, it sure packs quite a punch. I envision this being a very powerful weapon, easily handy while also carrying numerous other types. With there being more available on this weapon over most others released for Shadowkeep thus far, I definitely feel its Bungies more prideful of pieces coming forth.

PAX 2019 is an open window, not a door
The findings from PAX 2019 are exciting to say the least but do still leave us at the edge of our desk chairs, bed frames, futons, or maybe just a bare mattress (no Judgement or Penance here). There’s a lot to hold in with the release of Shadowkeep only a few weeks away.
With new armor and weapon perks sitting in front of us at this point, all we can do is dive into what we have of Destiny 2 and all its glory to embrace the normalcy that’s with us now, for soon it’s going to be a whole new world.
Until October 1st hits us head on, let’s just enjoy the breeze with the windows open and all the artillery in the air. It’s easier to take in like this anyways.
