Bungie is Fixing Destiny 2

Bungie is Fixing destiny 2 before the release of shadowkeep.
Bungie is Fixing Destiny 2? The major news story of the week was clearly the delay of Destiny 2’s fall expansion, Shadowkeep. Bungie has delayed the release of new DLC into October. Something most fans don’t really care about at all.
But Bungie also came out with a big list of upcoming fixes in the game, arriving in Destiny 2 in early September well before Shadowkeep. This Week at Bungie laid them all out in a row. Lets take a look at them.
moments of Triumps has been extended until 9/17
This is Moment of Triumph, not Solstice itself, so keep grinding. I really don’t see a reason not to extend Solstice either. A month should be enough for most people to get it done, given how basic the objectives are, and that the masterwork items can be done after the fact.
Gambit Prime and Reckoning weapon reward rates will be increased significantly.
For those have extreme bad luck they will also have bad-luck protection to guarantee a drop after a set amount of runs. Bungie is Fixing Destiny 2 bad luck streak.
Most of us though that Reckoning was already supposed to have bad luck protection. Guess not. At least in Reckoning’s case, Most people still think that it should have a guaranteed weapon drop every run or every other run.

Reckoning difficulty will be tuned to be more welcoming as you hunt for rewards.
While there aren’t any specifics on how this is being tuned or adjusted, Everyone has high hopes that it has something to do with the timers being more forgiving. Currently the biggest problem is the Bridge of Folly. It is nearly impossible to do with randoms without a Warlock well. Hopefully the biggest changes come there. I would not mind some tweaks to how “dominance” works in the first part, and I think the one-hit-kill Knights could use some nerfing as well.
BrayTech Schematics will no longer have a daily lockout and will give a higher chances toward weapons that players have not acquired.
This will not help those who have already gone through hundreds of nodes chasing Wayfarer, but it’s a needed change all the same.
Mountaintop and Wendigo GL3 pinnacle quests will become more accessible.
Specific quest objectives will be tuned based on player feedback
Some people hated the Wendigo quest. As once I got pulled out my Fighting Lion, I had this done in like the first two weeks of the season. But I am guessing the “cluster” kills might get nerfed, and perhaps you will no longer lose any progress on death. For Mountaintop, I would assume the tweak has to do with double kills, the worst part of that quest step. I also would guess that a Mountaintop nerf is coming, but that’s not mentioned here.
There will be multiple weeks of increased Valor and Infamy in September.
Iron Banner will increased Valor in each event. Bungie is Fixing Destiny 2 Iron Banner.
Another bonus full Iron Banner is coming, and a week in September is actually Valor and Infamy boosts at the same time, which has not happened before.
As the season comes to a end, Menagerie chests will become more rewarding as Calus sees fit.
So they are actually re-buffing Menagerie chests to some degree. I don’t think they’ll just put the glitch back in, but maybe the community idea of three chests or bonus chests for full completion of stages will actually come to pass. Menagerie, even with 1-2 drops, is still the best targeted farm in the game, even now, but I will obviously not say no to the return of more loot.
All of this sounds good to me. It’s not like, everything that needs fixing, obviously, but considering that Destiny 2 is in a pretty good state overall, that’s not too bad. I agree with all of these changes, I just wish some of them had come a little sooner (the Braytech thing is happening what, a year late?). In any case, this arrives the week of September 3, so maybe cool it on some of your grinds until then.
